Walla Painting Receives Nextdoor Award

The results are in! Walla Painting of Carmel, Indiana has been voted as a neighborhood favorite in the Home Service Provider category for 2021. We are very honored and proud to receive this award, as it is the only local business award voted by the community in which we live and work. Nextdoor is a hyperlocal social networking service for neighborhoods. The app is an online hub that features helpful information for local residents and businesses. It connects neighbors to each other and to nearby businesses, news stories, civic events, and more. 

The Nextdoor company was founded in 2008 and is based in San Francisco, California. Nextdoor launched in the United States in October 2011 and is currently available in 11 countries.

Members of Nextdoor share advice, recommendations, and important alerts to help their neighbors get the services and information they need. The Carmel area Nextdoor app encompasses 182 neighborhoods and 351,294 residents in and around the city of Carmel, Indiana. 

Besides the Home Service Provider category, the Nextdoor awards for the best businesses also included restaurants (and many specialty categories like Italian, Asian, to-go, pizza, etc.), grocery stores, bookstores, hardware stores, clothing stores, hair salons, gyms, medical professionals, dentists, pet care, automotive services, and professional services. 

Walla’s award for top home service provider was based on professional residential painting services that we provided to satisfied customers throughout the area. We were competing against other local home service providers in the area, including plumbers, electricians, home repair companies, HVAC service providers, and more.
